Monster?

My own mother thought I was a monster... she was right of course, but it still hurt

There should have been more moments like this in the series. We saw this side of Azula little in the show, I wish we could have seen more of this.

Behind her perfect and manipulative mask Azula was just another human being who wished to be loved but she was too proud to said it. We saw this soft side of her (without her descending to madness) when she was with Ty Lee (and that's why I like their friendship so much) and in this little scene at "The Beach".

Was she really a monster? Did her mother think she was? Did Ursa love her or it was just Azula's mind saying what she wanted to hear at "Into the Inferno"?. I guess those questions, depending on the interpretations, have a lot of answers.

Personally, I didn't think she was a monster... I believe she was misunderstood and alone and, thanks to Ozai's teachings, she became the manipulative girl we saw a lot during the show. But there was definitely more of her than that!!

Anyway... sorry for all the rambling I just had to say it!!

Mi propia madre me veía como un monstruo... Ella tenía razón, pero aún así duele

Debieron existir más momentos como este en la serie. Vimos este lado de Azula muy poco en el show, desearía haber tenido más escenas como esta.

Detrás de su máscara de perfección y manipulaciones Azula era otro ser humano que deseaba ser amado, pero que era demasiado orgullosa para decirlo. Vimos este lado dulce de ella (sin caer en la locura) solo en algunas escenas en las que estaba con Ty Lee (por eso es que adoro tanto su amistad) y en esta pequeña escena en "La Playa".

Realmente era un monstruo? Su madre creía que lo era? Ursa la amó o solo era la mente de Azula diciendo lo que quería oír en "Hacia el Infierno"?. Creo que esas preguntas, según las distintas interpretaciones de todos, tienen muchas respuestas.

Personalmente no creo que ella era un monstruo... pienso que fue una chica incomprendida y algo solitaria en su mundo perfecto y, gracias a las enseñanzas de Ozai, se convirtió en la guerrera fría y manipuladora que vimos durante casi todo el show. Pero definitivamente ella era más que solo eso!!

Lamento todos los desvaríos Simplemente tenía que decirlo!

Espero que les guste este dibujo. Sé que el fondo es pobre y feo (como siempre...) pero creo que me estoy superando de a poco!
